ગુજરાતના સુરતના પાંડેસરા જીઆઈડીસીની રાણી સતી ડાઈંગ મિલમાં શનિવારે આગ લાગી હતી. ફાયરની 15 ગાડીઓ ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી ગઈ છે. ઘટના અંગે વધુ વિગતોની રાહ જોવાઈ રહી છે.
ગુજરાતના સુરતના પાંડેસરા વિસ્તારમાં આવેલી એક ડાઈંગ મિલમાં ભીષણ આગ ફાટી નીકળી છે. કાળા ધુમાડાના વાદળોને કારણે મિલની આસપાસના વિસ્તારમાં ગભરાટ ફેલાઈ ગયો હતો. અહેવાલો અનુસાર, આગ પર કાબૂ મેળવવા માટે ફાયર ફાઇટીંગ ઓપરેશન ચાલી રહ્યું છે.

શુક્રવારે સુરતમાં એક ડાઈંગ અને પ્રિન્ટિંગ મિલમાં આગ ફાટી નીકળી હતી, ફાયર વિભાગના અધિકારીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, કોઈ જાનહાનિ થઈ નથી.
આગને કારણે થયેલા નુકસાનની હજુ સુધી જાણકારી મળી નથી અને આગનું કારણ પણ હજુ સુધી જાણી શકાયું નથી. આગની ઘટના પાંડેસરા જીઆઈડીસી સ્થિત પ્રતિક ડાઈંગ એન્ડ પ્રિન્ટીંગ મિલમાં બની હતી.
ફાયર અધિકારીઓના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર, આગ મિલના એક રૂમમાં લાગી હતી અને ટૂંક સમયમાં અન્ય વિસ્તારોમાં ફેલાઈ ગઈ હતી.
આગના સમયે મિલની અંદર 200 થી વધુ કર્મચારીઓ હાજર હતા. કર્મચારીઓ બિલ્ડીંગમાંથી બહાર નીકળવામાં સફળ થયા હતા અને સુરત મહાનગરપાલિકાના ફાયર વિભાગને જાણ કરી હતી.
ફાયર બ્રિગેડની ટીમે ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી કલાકોની જહેમત બાદ આગ પર કાબુ મેળવ્યો હતો.
પ્રિન્ટિંગ મિલના માલિક રામપ્રકાશ બેરિયા છે.
SMCના ચીફ ફાયર ઓફિસર બસંત પારેકે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, “આગનું કારણ હજુ સુધી જાણી શકાયું નથી અને અધિકારીઓએ કારણ શોધવા માટે તપાસ શરૂ કરી છે.” હજુ સુધી કોઈ જાનહાનિના અહેવાલ નથી.”
